Doug Johnson - Douglas County Commissioner

Douglas County Commissioner Doug Johnson was born in Olympia, Washington.  He and his family moved to the Carson Valley in 1984 from lake Tahoe, where he worked for 20 years at Harrah's.  Doug is married to Janice and they have two children.  Doug was first elected to the Douglas County Board of Commissioners in 2004 and re-elected to his second term in 2008.  Doug sits on the following boards:  Nevada Association of Counties, Carson Water Subconservancy, V&T Railroad Commission, China Springs Youth Camp, Nevada Off Highway Vehicle Committee, Carson Valley Chamber and the Law Library.
